TJ Brayne worked alongside Benniman Construction Group on the Axis Park industrial development in Wolverton, delivering the groundworks and civils package required to prepare the site for eight new industrial units.
TJ Brayne was appointed as groundworks and civils subcontractor to Benniman Construction Group on Axis Park, a new multi-unit industrial and warehouse development in the Wolverton Mill area within Milton Keynes. Delivered on behalf of Chancerygate, a leading urban logistics and industrial property developer, the scheme comprises eight single-storey units ranging from 4,975 sq ft up to 67,770 sq ft, totalling over 200,000 sq ft of new industrial space.
This full-package delivery reflects TJ Brayne’s capability to handle the complete groundworks and civils scope on a large, multi-unit commercial site - from substructure through to external infrastructure.
The objective for Axis Park was to deliver a fully serviced, development-ready platform that would allow Chancerygate to bring eight new industrial units to market - supporting business growth and investment across Milton Keynes.
As the appointed groundworks and civils subcontractor, our role was central to achieving this. Solid foundations and incoming services needed to be in place early to keep the build programme on track, while a carefully designed drainage network and attenuation tanks would manage surface water sustainability across the site, supporting the scheme’s target of BREEAM Outstanding. By getting the substructure and external infrastructure right from the outset, TJ Brayne gave Benniman a dependable platform to build from - helping ensure Axis Park could be delivered to the standard needed to attract occupiers and support long-term growth in the area’s industrial and logistics sector.
